Mark Rizk, Shared Services Manager (Leisure, Sports & Culture), said: “The theme for this year’s National Stress Awareness Day is ‘Defining Outcomes for Wellbeing at Work’ and we hope to provide just a few ways of unwinding during a busy day. You can stress a little less by attending one of our FREE sessions or activities before or after work, or complimenting your lunch break with a quick dip in the pool.”

Dr Charles Pidsley, Chair of the East Staffordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), said: “As part of the ongoing partnership work between CCG, Public Health and East Staffordshire Borough Council we have agreed some FREE sessions in support of the National Stress Awareness Day.

Getting active is a good way of overcoming mental health issues and alleviating stress. These free sessions are a taster that hopefully will encourage some patients to make use of the facilities and opportunities that are already available to them in East Staffordshire. There will be something for everyone”.
