Voted as the 5th best firework display in the UK (www.telegraph.co.uk), Tutbury Castle is opening its doors again for two nights of glittering fireworks, attracting visitors from literally all over the country.
Back by popular demand, the ‘Yorvik Vikings’ will be combat fighting under the moonlight, followed by a Viking ‘funeral’.
This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever with fairground rides and our exceptional circus and fire performers provided by the very talented Flambé Circus Theatre.
We will be opening our doors early again at 3pm on the Sunday afternoon only for a family day. There will be a living history camp with lots to see and do for the whole family providing an accurate and educational portrayal of the Viking period. This will be followed with our usual Viking Battle and Fireworks at an earlier time of 5:30pm. Perfect for those with little ones that have school the next morning.
Our BBQ and Bar will be open with hot and cold food available to purchase all evening.
