The Sound of Music is Little Theatre Company’s 2012 musical being staged from Monday November 12 to Saturday November 17 at the Brewhouse Arts Centre in Burton. The classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical will star Katie Haywood as Maria and John Bowness as Captain Von Trapp.
The 1959 musical is based on the the memoirs of the real-life Maria von Trapp and many songs from the show have become standards, such as “Edelweiss”, “My Favorite Things”, “Climb Ev’ry Mountain”, “Do-Re-Mi”, and the title song “The Sound of Music”.
