107 Art at 107 Station Street is proud to announce the launch evening for their next exciting exhibition. Tempesta (and new beginnings.) which takes place on Friday 14th December 2012 from 7pm to 9.30 pm, with free admission and complimentary refreshments provided.

Tempesta is an exhibition of Michelle Strozykowski’s latest work. Tempesta is a celebration of the elements at work. Earth, wind and fire are represented in Michelle’s paintings, as well as the ubiquitous storms alluded to in the show’s title.  The exhibition will feature several large scale oil/mixed media pieces, some photographic pieces and some original images produced as giclee prints. A number of framed/unframed prints and postcards will also be available

Michelle has invited students from Abbot Beyne Specialist Art College to display some of their work.

The exhibition is intended to be both a showcase for professional artists, and a nurturing ground for fresh new talent. The young people will see where their creativity and talent can take them, gain some insight and guidance from the professional artists, and the unique opportunity to display their work in Staffordshire’s largest White Wall Gallery.

Blue Yates – artist and musician – who will be setting the soundtrack for the evening as well as exhibiting a small number of his beautiful photographs.

Please come along and support the artists and help to nurture the young talent and help 107 to keep Burton Upon Trent firmly on the Creative World Map.
