This is a rare band to play not only the Whistle but to play Burton as they are THE only band to be an instant hit here drawing in a capacity crowd.
This band is sure to blow you away get down early as this band is a music venue filler.
Soul Preachers is a Shropshire funky soul and dance band with members from Telford, Wellington and Oswestry, plus Walsall and Cannock (UK). Its influences are as diverse as the individuals within the band and their repertoire of original material sprinkled with a few original takes on some covers, pulls together their respective talents of songwriters and musicians to create a unique blend of Soul, Reggae, Dance, Rock and Pop in a sometimes progressive format.
The band felt they had ‘arrived’. 2012 looks to be a great year in the making for the band, qualifying for the regional finals of the Live & Unsigned UK competition which will be held at the NEC on March 24th, as well as pulling in some major bookings for festivals and venues around the East and West Midlands and there seems to be a buzz about the future expectations and destiny of the band. It is great that the people who follow Soul Preacher are giving us positive vibes on not only the quality of our work, but also the diversity.
