Since last appearing at Jazz-on-Tap in 2012, Rob
(www.robterrytrio.com) has recorded an album at London’s famous
Porcupine Studio (where Humphrey Littleton recorded virtually all of
his records). There’s a heap of brand new original music to hear at
the performance. Rob composes in a unique style cross-fertilising
western classical, bluesy-gospel and Afro-Cuban feels with jazz
improvisation.  Here a couple of review quotes to whet your appetite:

“a sparkling and original interpretation of  the piano trio,
combining grace with a subtle edge, bringing together influences from
Ramsey Lewis to Jarrett to Chopin, within a wrapper of deeply creative
compositions, a delight” – Pete Watson, Artist Director – Ealing
Jazz Festival

“Rob Terry is a two-handed piano player with an extensive musical
knowledge and a beautiful touch. Paul Jefferies’ bass is the big
warm grounding of the group and Charlie Stratford’s inventive and
mercurial drumming drives and embellishes the music’s many twists
and turns. They are a tight-knit, hard-working unit and they play with
one unified voice rather than as three talented individuals. Do
yourself a favour and give this disc a listen, you won’t regret
it”  – Tom Saunders – Baker Street Jazz Club
