The madhouse presents Henry Priestman
In the late 1970s Henry played with the British band The Yachts, supporting The Who on their 1979 European tour. During the 1980s and 1990s he was a founder member of The Christians, a band that enjoyed great popular, critical and commercial success, selling millions of albums in the process. In 2008 Henry released his debut
solo album, ‘The Chronicles of Modern Life’ on Stiff Records. The album was a huge success and Island Records bought the entire project for a major re-release. When Island Records picked up the album from Stiff, Henry became the oldest ever artist to be signed to a major label for a debut solo album. He is currently finalising his much-awaited second solo album, but continues to enjoy live work.
If last year’s show is anything to go by, this will be an absolute ball, so just don’t miss this show! Supported again by the wonderful Ben Hughes – absolute proof that you should never, ever miss a support act!
