Stretton
Burton on Trent

Stretton is a large village in Staffordshire on the outskirts of Burton on Trent. The name means Street Town and comes from the village being situated on the Roman road called Ryknild Street which is now the A38.
The River Dove which forms the border between Staffordshire and Derbyshire flows past the eastern side of the village. The Trent and Mersey Canal also passes through. |
