Stapenhill is one of the boroughs of Burton-On-Trent. Sometimes deemed locally as "the other side of the river", it could be considered a village, although in comparison with nearby Walton-On-Trent, this is not so much the case.
Stapenhill gardens is the epitome of Stapenhill. Its main feature is a gigantic model swan with flowers planted in it. This represents the gardens' main inhabitants, the swans. In a similar vein, the local football team is known as The Stapenhill Swans.
