OUR POLICY ON READER RECOMMENDATIONS
If you enjoyed your meal out, we encourage you to share your experience with other readers. Listed below are a few Frequently Asked Questions.
How do I write a recommendation? Simple - just follow these steps. · Enter your name and email address in the boxes provided · Write your review in the space provided (It doesn't matter whether your review is just one sentence such as 'Had a great meal', or a full blown review of the restaurant and your meal. Both will be useful to other InBurton readers looking for somewhere to go in Burton). · Enter the Security Code (the 6 letters/numbers below the 'Comments' box) into the box directly above the 'Submit' button. · Click the Submit button and you're done. If there is a problem with your submission a box will pop up to tell you what the problem is. If your entry is submitted correctly you will simply be returned to the page
Do I need to provide my email address? Yes you do. But it will not appear online and will not be provided to any third parties. We only show the name or nickname you provide to accompany your recommendation.
Will my recommendation appear online immediately after I submit it? No. All recommendations go initially into a holding area so we can check they are suitable to include on the website. Usually this process takes no more than 24 hours.
What if I had a bad experience at the restaurant - is there any point writing a recommendation? We accept all reviews good and bad, but we will not publish overtly negative, libelous or offensive reviews. However we will forward the review (without your email address) to the restaurant concerned. By providing this feedback to Burton restaurants we can hopefully encourage restaurant owners to improve their standards and so provide an improved dining experience for all of us. The Editors decision is final as to which reviews are added to the site.
What is the Security Code For? This is just to ensure that the form is completed by a human and not a software program. |
