Most insurance companies offering Employers and Public Liability policies now insist that PAT tests are conducted by the policy holder over an applicable frequency. Failure to do so may be used as a reason to invalidate a policy in the event of a claim.
TestSafe is based at Bretby in Burton-on-Trent. We use the latest Seaward PAT testing equipment and all test results are downloaded to specialised reporting software. These results are presented in paper format and an electronic record is kept secure on our computer system ready for your next test. Therefore, in the event of records being lost at your premises, a back-up copy can easily be produced.

Apart from minor repairs such as the exchange of incorrectly rated fuses and damaged or poorly wired plug-tops, we do not look for electrical repair work. We simply inspect and test your portable appliances and produce pass/fail reports.
Consider our service to be like a motor vehicle MOT test. You are free to repair (or condemn) failed appliances as you wish. |
