Ralph, who lives in Rolleston on Dove, is running in memory of his brother-in-law Nick Gascoigne who passed away in February 2013. Nick battled for many years with mental issues and alcohol addiction. Rethink provided him help and support over the years, and this is Ralph’s way of giving something back.

Ralph says “I also have the honour of being on team north led by Melanie C. Team north will be competing against Iwan Thomas’s team south to see who is more generous the north or south.
I need a lot of support on this one! I haven’t run a half-marathon before, but if you’re going to run one why not start with one of the most iconic!”

Rethink provide a lot of local support for people suffering with mental health issues as well as raising awareness.

If you would like to support Ralph and help the charity, you can text RGNR70 £1/2/3/4/5/10 to 70070 or visit http://www.justgiving.com/Ralph-GNR

Good luck Ralph!
