FREE ADMISSION AND FREE CHILDREN’S ENTERTAINMENT

We are delighted to announce that St Mary’s Church in Stretton is hosting the annual Community Day. This is a community based initiative generously supported by the Parish Council and East Staffordshire Borough Council.
It starts at 2pm and finishes at 5pm and will be held in the Church Hall and field off Hillfield Lane.
Admission is FREE and all children’s entertainment is FREE. The event will highlight what is happening is Stretton – many of the local voluntary organisations and a variety of clubs will be represented.
They will have stalls promoting the work and activities they doe; and some may take the opportunity to fund raise for their groups.
Children’s entertainment will include ‘MAGIC MAYHEM’,which includes magic tricks, mini circus acts and unicycle rides. Children can have a go at some of lthe activities as well as enjoy watching the
entertainment. There will be inflatables and a climbing wall, and for steam engine enthusiasts there will be a steam traction engine.
