The Mellow Dramatics are pleased to announce their next production: Peter Pan A Musical Adventure which is coming to Burton on Trent in January 2014.

Sir James Barrie’s timeless tale of the boy who never grew up is reborn as a spectacular Musical by Stiles and Drewe and the late Willis Hall bringing to life the magical world of Neverland.

We begin our journey in London Town where we discover ‘There’s Something in the Air Tonight’, we are then taken to Bloomsbury to meet the Darling family, as nightfall descends and the children are in their beds we first meet Peter Pan who is looking for his shadow. The children, Peter and a mischievous Tinkerbell with a shake or two of fairy dust of course fly across London to fantastical Neverland.

Whilst in Neverland the children have many wonderful and terrifying adventures with Peter, they first meet the Lost Boys gang who soon take Wendy as their Mother, they also come across Tiger Lily and many other mystical characters. Along the way they encounter the wrath of a bunch of swashbuckling pirates who are the crew from the Jolly Roger and their terrifying, murderous Captain Hook. The Captain is intent on getting revenge on Peter for cutting off his right arm and throwing it to a passing crocodile…

…Will hook succeed and finally kill Peter Pan? …Will the Darling children make it home to Bloomsbury?

And perhaps the most important question of all, will Peter Pan ever grow up?
