Beginners meditation class,  September 2013 – A 10 week course

A 10 week course of 1 hour guided meditations

This course is for beginners or those  new to meditation

£30 for the 10 week course that\’s just £3.00 per class

Meditation to me, as well as many others, can conjure up all kinds of
images

Sitting on a floor mat in the lotus position
Being able to stand on you head, whilst chanting some kind of vocal
noise
Wearing a robe and clanging symbols
Being a wise man with a white beard, able to tell you the meaning of
life, after a week of fasting

However I’m normal, just like you.

My lotus position may have been achievable 20 years ago
Standing on my head, i left in the playground at primary school
My singing is appalling!
The only robe I wear is a bath robe and symbol clanging I leave to
those with a musical background
Being female and living in Woodville covers the last image!

What I do have, is the ability to teach you different meditation
techniques. Give you pointers and information, along with help and
guidance in learning how to meditate, Leaving you with an array of
abilities

These can be used to practise at home to keep you calm and relaxed,
For de-stressing after a bad day. Helping to deal with emotional day
to day occurrences. Or just coming along once a week to have a
relaxing \”Time out\” and \”Me time\”

Leads to a much deeper level of relaxation

Reduces anxiety attacks
Stress Release
Ability to deal more calmly, in tense situations
Leaving you, with a lovely feel good factor.

Our Meditation is seated in comfy chairs.

It\’s advisable you wear loose clothing, to make your experience more
comfortable,

Should you also wish to bring a blanket, please do so.  Some people
find it comforting to be covered.

Remember this is about YOU, your comfort and well being.  I really
would like you to totally relax.

I will be providing all other meditation tools, including water during
meditation, along with a hot drink and a biscuits afterwards.

My aim:-  By the end of this course you should have enough tools, to
be able to do this in the comfort of your own home.  However I will be
running more classes
