What happened to Shirley Bradshaw’s (nee Valentine’s) husband, Joe when she left for Greece? He went down to his local to drown his sorrows and pour his heart out to a pint glass. What did she mean when she said she wanted to find herself? Did she not know after 42 years: somebody’s wife – his – and mother – their Brian and Millandra’s? Had he not done his duty as a husband and provided? What more could be expected of him? What more did they all want?
Performances given in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for the six young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day. Also supported will be the British Heart Foundation who have kindly donated furniture from their outlet for the set.
