Saturday 21st June will be a fabulous occasion for Burton upon Trent
as Feel Fab Events! team up with the organisors of The Grand Reopening
of the Market Hall, following its £1.5m refurbishment.
For the first time in the history of the Market Hall, shoppers will be
able to access the Upper beautifully refurbished gallery where they
will be treated from 10am until 4pm, to a variety of pop up health,
beauty, craft and lifestyle related stalls. There will be the
opportunity to relax with a coffee on the upper gallery in newly
opened Kandy Factory and watch the entertainment provided throughout
the day from the viewing platform.
Downstairs there is an array of new market traders to discover with a
pop up cafe and seating area and free face painting. Outside there is
a funfair, bouncy castle for the children and food available from
Smokey’s Barbeque, Jacket Potatoes, Crepes, Ice cream, and ‘Bluebelle’
will be visiting Burton for the first time with Bluebelle Bakery’s
wonderful home made cakes, milk shakes and home made lemonade to sit
and savour.
The mayor cuts the ribbon at 10.00am and then there are activities
throughout the day including the chance to win a mini from the
Utility Warehouse. The new Market hall is just what Burton needs to
regenerate the town centre. I hope you will come and support it.
