Rapper is the traditional sword dance from the North East of England.
Teams of dancers will come from all over the country to take part in
the national competition which will highlight the best dancers. The
rapper sword dance is the most spectacular of the English traditional
dances and the lively pace and stunning moves holds audiences
captivated.  The competition starts at 11:30 am in the Burton Town
Hall and continues in the evening from 7:30 pm for the show dances and
awards ceremony.

All this is open to the public to watch. Tickets £5.
