Gift fair / fun day on Saturday 10th August at Oaklands Village, Swadlincote, to raise much needed funds for a local based charity, Me and Dee.
There will be a variety of great stalls including a face-painter, exotic animals, local crafters, nail treatments, a luxury tombola and also there will be free children’s art competition aimed at 3 – 11 year olds. Entries should be brought along on the day (we cannot accept postal entries as Oaklands aren’t organising the event), should be A4 sized and the theme is ‘Summer Holidays’. There are 3 prizes – a £30 Odeon cinema voucher, a family day-pass to 360 Play @ Leicester and an assortment of arts & crafts goodies.
Admission is free and the venue has plenty of parking, toilets, a licensed bar and an on-site bistro.
