PICNIC WITH ROYALTY AT THE CASTLE
Only £14.50 per person!
PERFORMANCE BEGINS AT 4:30PM.
Tutbury Castle is proud to present the life and times of Queen Elizabeth I and the tragic captive Mary Queen of Scots in the beautiful setting of this 11th century royal castle.
The presentation will take place on a stage in front of the dramatic ruins of the castle. If the weather is poor, this event will take place in our large, elegant marquee.
The ticket price includes a delicious boxed picnic.
The afternoon performance begins at 4:30pm. The first half of the presentation is a monologue by Mary Queen of Scots, played by Lesley Smith, which lasts approximately 45 minutes followed by an interval of 45 minutes with the picnic. The second half is a presentation of Queen Elizabeth I, Gloriana herself, in all her majesty.
Guests are invited to bring their own seating, blankets etc. Our bar and tea and coffee facilities will be open.
Tickets will be limited and must be booked in advance. Please contact us on 01283 812129 for group bookings of 10 or more.
