The Elms Pub in Stapenhill
The Elms Pub on Stapenhill Road. We decided it would be rude to not
call in and sample a pint or two when we were passing so close by!!

The Trent Bridge
Nearing the end of our walk now and crossing Burton's Trent Bridge
looking towards the Trent and Leander Rowing Club as well as

........ and so we returned to our start point. A relaxing wander that
took a few hours (but would have been a lot quicker if we hadn't popped
into the Elms for a couple!)

All in all, I can fully recommend the Burton Washlands as a great place to
get some fresh air and see the sights of the countryside without having
to venture far from home.

It's on your doorstep so why not make the most of it!!
