Burton upon Trent is a large town in East Staffordshire.  Burton has been associated with the brewing industry for hundreds of years and is known worldwide for beers including Draught Bass and Marstons Pedigree.  The Burton Cooper is one of the well know symbols associated with the town and a statue of the cooper features in one of Burton's main shopping centres (shown right). The town has a population in excess of 70,000 and lies within the National Forest. The River Trent runs through the town which is also home to Burton Albion Football Club.
