So, you're looking for a Burton upon Trent Hotel?
Well, you'll be pleased to hear that there are quite a number to choose from,
of varying standards and varying prices.
As prices and deals at Burton upon Trent Hotels change frequently, I will not
mention specific prices on this page but the links below contain some of the best deals I've
seen so they're well worth checking out when you need to book your Burton Hotel.
Location
One major factor in deciding which Burton upon Trent Hotel you should stay at
is it's location in the town. In my own experience I have often looked online for a hotel
in a particular location but have struggled to find details of what facilities are nearby and
so sometimes have ended up miles from a decent pub or any sign of life! Hopefully, I can
alleviate that problem for you by giving some details about a few Burton upon Trent Hotels
here.
Let's begin by looking at a couple of hotels that are in Burton Town
Centre.
The Three Queens Hotel
Firstly the Queens Hotel (or The Three Queens Hotel as it's now known). This
Burton upon Trent Hotel can be found at the very end of Burton's High Street and so
the main shopping areas of the town are less than a five minute walk away as are the many Pubs,
Bars and Restaurants that Burton has to offer.
If you don't want to walk that far then The Three Queens Hotel has it's own
restaurant or there is a choice of several very good restaurants that are no more than 30
seconds from the hotel. These include Jee-Ja-Jees Indian Restaurant, The Baan Thai Restaurant
and Pinocchio's Italian Restaurant that are all superb and highly recommended.
Also, straight over the road from this Burton upon Trent Hotel is The Bridge
Brewery which is an award winning small brewery and pub which welcomes visitors from miles
around who come to sample it's Bridge Bitter and home made fruit wines.
The Meadowside Leisure Centre is only 3 minutes away (for swimming, squash,
gym etc) and Burton's Cineworld Cinema is a 5 minute walk away.
The next Burton Town Centre Hotel you may wish to consider is....
The Grail Court Hotel
This Burton upon Trent Hotel is slap bang in the middle of town and only a
one minute walk away from Burton's main shopping areas. A large Sainsbury's store is also just
over the road.
As far as restaurants go, The Grail Court Hotel has it's own restaurant
serving several styles of food including Mexican. Also, within a 30 second walk of this Burton
upon Trent Hotel is George's Indian restaurant, Frankie & Benny's and The Dial Bar
& Restaurant. All of these are excellent.
For pubs and bars, again, The Dial Bar is superb, the cheapest beer in town
(at The Lord Burton) is only 3 minutes away or for award winning beers at a pub that features
in The Good Beer Guide, The Devonshire Arms (or The Devvie as locals call it) is also only
three minutes away.
If you fancy a boogie, The Grail Court Hotel has it's own nightclub or
alternatively, Chicago Rock Cafe Nightclub and Flares Club are less than 2 minutes
away.
The Cineworld Cinema is just a two minute walk from this Burton upon Trent
Hotel and The Brewhouse Arts Centre which offers a good selection of live music, theatre and
other events is only a minute away.
