The Brewhouse Arts Centre Burton on Trent
An Update - August 9th 2006
As most of you will be aware, Burton's Brewhouse Arts Centre was damaged by fire in the early hours of Sunday 28th May 2006. Today I was given an exclusive tour of The Brewhouse to see the fire damage and to view the progress made to date in restoring the town's arts centre to it's former glory.
Here are a selection of photos that I took during my visit along with some of my thoughts about what I saw: (Note: The photos do start off with things looking quite grim but there IS some good news as you progress through!)

As I first walked in through the main doors I was greeted by the sight of the charred remains of the Box Office area and the smoke ravaged bar area. For someone like me who has spent literally hundreds and hundreds of hours at The Brewhouse since it first opened, it was certainly a sad sight!

I'm not sure this TV will work again!
This is where the Box Office USED to be!
