Why add your event to the 'What's On' page?

Because more Burton people will see details of your event when it is advertised on the InBurton What's On page.  With an average of over 13000 visitors per month who are searching for food, drink and entertainment in Burton-on-Trent you can be sure that your entry will be seen by local people who are looking for exactly what you're offering. The What's On page is rapidly becoming the most comprehensive 'What's On' list for the town and is probably the most cost effective way to promote your event to the most targeted audience - Burton people who are actually searching for entertainment in the town.

What does it cost?

You can add your event to the What's On page for just £4 or if you wish to add a number of events to the page at one time, the prices reduce significantly as follows:

1  event  £4
3  events £10 (£3.33 each)
5  events £15 (£3 each)
10 events £25 (£2.50 each)
Please ask us for a price if you'd like to add more than ten entries.

When should I add my 'What's On' entry?

You can add your entry at any time but it will only go live on the What's On page four weeks prior to your event. (If there are less than 4 weeks until your event at the time you add it, your entry will appear within 48 hours).  As it is cheaper to add a number of events to the page at one time than it is to enter them individually, we recommend you enter your future events in blocks of five or ten if that is at all possible.

Can any event be added as a 'What's On'?

We do reserve the right not to add any entry that we feel is unsuitable for our website visitors but generally anything from live music in a pub to a coffee morning and a pub quiz to live theatre can be added.

How much information can I add about my event?

One very big advantage of the InBurton What's On page over other advertising mediums is that you can add as much information as you wish. Remember that a person looking at details of your event may know nothing about you and so it is best to give them sufficient information about your pub, club etc and your event to tempt them into paying you a visit.

What if my 'What's On' lasts for more than one day?

If your event is on consecutive days (for example a theatre play) then your entry will include the start and finish dates to show that the event covers that period of time. If however, your event is something that is repeated weekly (for example a weekly pub quiz) then each event will need to be entered separately.

How do I add my event (or events)?

Adding your events is very simple. Firstly click the button below that is relevant to the number of events that you wish to add. The button will then take you to our secure payment system that will allow you to pay with your credit or debit card.  As soon as you have made payment you will be forwarded to a page that gives details for emailing your event information to me.
