This modern British brasserie is situated in the
old town area of Burton on Trent, close to the railway station. In the short
time that 99 Station Street has been open, we are listed in the Good Food
Guide 2010, won Best Newcomer in the Taste of Staffordshire
Good Food Awards and also 2nd place in brasserie of the year
for both 2008 and 2009. The food is sourced from trusted local suppliers and
is always fresh and in season.
A consistent favourite is the Bromley Hurst aged
fillet steak which is chargrilled to perfection by AA Rosette winner, Head
Chef, Daniel Pilkington. Classically trained as a pastry chef, Dan delivers
delicious desserts made fresh on the premises. This is coupled with a
selection of English cheese and a compact handpicked wine list.
The food and wine is carefully matched to the
relaxing atmosphere and the laid back friendly approach of the front of house
staff.
Open from Wednesday through Sunday for lunch
and Wednesday through Saturday for dinner service. Lunch is offered as a
fixed price menu with dinner being a la carte.
